'Fast and Furious 7' director James Wan buys Los Angeles home for $9.7 Million

James Wan, the directorial mastermind behind several hit horror flicks like "The Conjuring" and "Insidious," has reportedly purchased a home in the Sunset Strip area of Los Angeles for $9.7 million.

According to The Real Estalker, Nebil "Bilo" Zarif, the famous Turkish businessman and winemaker, is the home's seller.

The place was first marketed as a pocket listing in 2007; however, the residence went on and off the market several times before officially listing for $13.49 million in October 2013. The price was later reduced to $10.25 million.

According to listing records, the 7,500-square-foot single-family home sits on a large private lot along with a separate guest house.

The main residence has five bedrooms and five full and one half bathrooms. Interiors boast light hardwood floorings and high wood-beamed ceilings along with sliding doors and large floor-to-ceiling glass windows with ample views of the city's skyline.

Exclusive living features include a media room, a walk-in wine storage, a gym, separate living and dining areas, and a grand total of four fireplaces.

Outside is a sleek swimming pool with a raised spa, a barbecue area, a wet bar and ample parking space.

Meanwhile, Wan will resume shooting "Fast & Furious 7" come April 1 following a delay due to actor Paul Walker's sudden death in November.
