With only two episodes left before the winter hiatus, "Quantico" is going all-out intense in season 1, episode 9 as Alex gets detained by the FBI.
The end of episode 8 has set the tone for an action-packed episode 9, titled "Guilty." Ryan (Jake McLaughlin) was flown via chopper and into safety as Alex (Priyanka Chopra) got left behind. At first, it would seem curious as to why Alex did not go with Ryan. However, viewers would later on realize what she was planning. Episode 8 ended with Alex surrendering to the FBI to inform the bureau of a second bomb on the loose in New York City.
In a video preview for "Quantico" season 1 episode 9, Alex is detained by the FBI while the agents argue whether she is innocent or not. It is a no-brainer that Natalie (Anabelle Acosta) thinks that Alex is only playing the FBI. However, Elias (Rick Cosnett) is convinced that Alex is not guilty and tells it to Liam (Josh Hopkins).
According to Hollywood Hills, Alex will be interrogated and as the preview shows, it won't be a friendly one. A man in suit forces Alex to confess that she is the bomber but when she refuses, he leads her to a place where Ryan can be seen with hands tied upwards, his bullet wound exposed. The interrogator is determined to squeeze the "truth," in this case let Alex admit to a crime she has not committed, even if it means he has to torture Ryan.
Meanwhile in Quantico, the trainees are taught by a former FBI agent, Dr. Susan Langdon (Anne Heche), on how to profile. In this case, Simon (Tate Ellington) becomes too good at the assignment that his life is put in danger.
In the meantime, Simon's future self was seen talking to a man, who was seemingly making a bomb, towards the end of episode 8. When Joshua Safran, the creator of "Quantico" was asked about who the man is, he said it is Oren, a character from episode 4, Entertainment Weekly wrote. Oren is the man Alex and Simon met when they were looking for information about the wire. How involved is Simon with Oren?
"Quantico" season 1, episode 9 will be shown on ABC on Nov. 29 at 10PM ET.
