Previously, it was reported that Season 4 of the TV hit that stars Benedict Cumberbatch will be more explosive than ever. Moreover, fans already know that all is set for the next "Sherlock" season and that filming will begin early next year as the series has been reportedly confirmed to begin filming in spring of 2016.
According to Metro, weeks ago Sherlock co-creator Steven Moffat has told everybody that "Sherlock" will end the moment Benedict Cumberbatch decides to quit. For the time being fans are convinced that this would never quit because, according to the Hollywood Reporter, he had said back in 2014 during a panel discussion, "I'm fine with it. I'm going to keep going with it. It's a schedule-providing thing...I love it. I find it very invigorating." But things might have changed and now, fans fear that "Sherlock" might not have a season five.
According to The Franchise Herald, as a very talented actor it is not a wonder that Benedict Cumberbatch will eventually be swarmed with a truckload of acting projects. The "Sherlock" actor's schedule has become so occupied lately especially after receiving a CBE from Queen Elizabeth herself.
Cumberbatch, giving everyone a peek at his hectic schedule had said, "Her Majesty asked me what I was doing at the moment, and I told her I had finished a three month run at the Barbican, which she knew of," he revealed. "And I told her I had just got back last night from filming in Nepal, Doctor Strange for Marvel, then I'll be going straight into the fourth series of Sherlock."
If he continues to be so busy, fans might start thinking that Moffat's previous words could have been a premonition. According to Movie Pilot, Moffat said "Once Benedict Cumberbatch gives up Sherlock, what are we going to do? We are going to stop, that's what we are going to do. Most shows have a built-in mortality."
