Celebrity Real Estate: Marc Anthony Hired Luis Ortiz To Sell His Long Island Home

The king of Salsa, Marc Anthony hired the "Million Dollar Listing New York" star, Luis Ortiz to sell his Long Island home.

According to The Real Deal, Ortiz will re-list Anthony's Brookville mansion for $9 million. It has been said that its new price is $3 million less than its initial selling price last year. Back in February, Marc's Brookville mansion was listed in the market for $12 million. It was Dolly Lenz who initially marketed Anthony and then-wife Jennifer Lopez's mansion.

Ortiz said that Anthony's 10-bedroom, 8-acre compound in Brookville that went through a complete redesign is one of the most private houses in Brookville. The mansion is completely gated. "It's also incredibly cosy, with fireplaces in every room," he said.

According to NY Daily News, the mansion has eight bathrooms, five powder rooms, home theatre, recording studio, a large mahogany paneled library, eight fire places, a pool, a tennis court and a separate guesthouse.

Anthony bought the mansion in 2000 for $3.7 million and shared it with Lopez until they got divorced. The interiors of the 16-room brick house at 3 Country Lane was redesigned by Thom Filicia, of "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy," back then.

Meanwhile, PEOPLE shared that Anthony gave an advice to "Dancing with the Stars" Carlos PenaVega for his salsa dance to his song, Valió La Pena."

Carlos and his partner, Witney Carson went to Anthony's show in Arizona to meet him and get some tips. It was a great meet up for them. Anthony's simple yet meaningful advice to Carlos was, "Relax into it. You learn whatever you need to learn and then let it go, then just feel it."

Billboard also reported that Cuban duo Gente de Zona and Marc Anthony are up for new music collaboration entitled, "Traidora." Alexander Delgado shared that Gente de Zona is managed by Marc Anthony's new entertainment company, Magnus.
