Celebrity Real Estate: ABC Radio Host Tom Joyner Sold Miami Mansion for $21M

Tom Joyner, the nationally syndicated radio host and a BET Humanitarian Award winner, sold his Miami mansion for a whopping $21 million.

According to listing agent Rossana Franco, the 65-year-old radio host bought the seaside home for half that amount in 2004.

The listing agent also said that, "Everything about the house is perfectly beautiful." Franco knew that the beachfront lot was bought, the house was built, and the owner lived in it for three years, and then sold it to Joyner.

Based on the report of Realtor, the 9,764-square-foot property on Golden Beach has six bedrooms, a formal dining room with high ceilings, a master suite, guest quarters, and an elevator. The estate is just 50 feet away from a pristine beach.

It was also reported that Tom Joyner has downsized to a $10.5 million seaside house down the road. Franco confirmed that both transactions were dealt in the same week.

The Mediterranean-inspired home of the radio host features marble and wood floors, two fireplaces, Murano light fixtures, and terraces with great ocean views.

Tom Joyner has worked long hours, flying between his morning job in Dallas, Texas and his afternoon job in Chicago, Illinois every weekday for eight years. His travel time for work alone clocked over 7 million miles. With this, he earned the nickname "The Fly Jock" and "The Hardest Working Man in Radio."

In 1994, he took the radio show to a new level. He knew that he could reach a broader audience, so he convinced ABC Radio Networks that his show could work in syndication. ABC became impressed with his determination and gave it a try. The Tom Joyner Morning Show started with him at the helm, as reported by Black America Web.

The show is broadcast each weekday to radio stations across the country. Over eight million listeners tune into the show from their favorite local radio station. Tom Joyner is very well known to have a good time.
