Keep 'The Voice' About The Singers, Not You Two, Blake Shelton And Gwen Stefani Told

Is Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani's relationship shifting the viewers' focus during "The Voice"?

An article on Hollywood Life stated that now that Shelton and Stefani have finally announced that they are indeed a couple, the issue might take the spotlight off the contestants this season.

The public is hungry for Blake-Gwen interactions during the show, but they have managed to keep low in the past three episodes. The two judges have done a good job so far in keeping the show PDA-free, but when cameras are not running -- they aren't shy to show a little bit of lovin' for the audience, the article stated.

In one incident involving the judges and contestant Amy Vachal, Blake made a flirtatious booty call joke to his girlfriend, which led to the other judges' seemingly endless laughs. Although harmless in nature, the focus was completely shifted from Amy's time to get critiqued. Other than that incident, the judges proved to be professional and still effective in doing their jobs.

The other 'Voice' coaches seem to have no problem with the budding romance between Blake and Gwen. USA Today covers the story that fellow judge Adam Levine is supportive of their relationship. On the Maroon 5 frontman's Instagram, he posted a photo of him alongside the couple with the caption "Family. (Blake is the stepbrother)." Additionally, it comes to no surprise that Blake and Gwen have already written a song together. They describe it as a mid-tempo country ballad that showcases Blake's country roots. Given that country is totally different from Gwen's musical style, the source shares that the 'No Doubt' lead sounds amazing on a "pretty country song."

'The Voice' airs on NBC every Monday/Tuesday 8/7 central.
