Fans are slowly getting updates on the plot details of "The 100" Season 3 before its premiere next year. Recently, the show's producer, Jason Rothenberg, teased details on the Grounders in the upcoming season.
According to Melty, the Grounders have become an "integral part in the hit series" following the events in Season 2. With this, a fan reportedly asked Rothenberg via Twitter if the Grounder capitol Polis will be seen in Season 3. The producer replied on the affirmative and even hinted that vital information may be revealed about the Grounders in the new season, saying, "Yes, and it will change the way you think about the Grounders. Too spoilery?"
What Rothenberg meant in his Twitter reply is currently unknown, but Melty speculates that viewers may see the Grounders as a more civilized society in Polis in Season 3.
Meanwhile, fans are reportedly not happy about the increasing focus of "The 100" on the Grounders as it seems to steal the spotlight on the Arkers. According to the site, one fan told Rothenberg via Twitter that the show is titled "The 100" and not "The Grounders." The producer was quick to reply to the fan's observation, however, and said, "They're all grounders now, though. #the100 Of course, they might not all be grounders. Hmmmm."
In other news, Christian Today reports that Rothenberg also revealed that a space station ghost story will also be featured in "The 100" Season 3. The said story reportedly refers to an incident that took place in a Brazilian space station, and the producer warned viewers that it is "a very scary episode."
"The 100" Season 3 is currently in production, but it is expected to return to the small screen in January 2016.
