Kym Gold Home: True Religion Co-Founder Lists Her Malibu Mansion For $18.45M

Kym Gold, co-founder of an American clothing brand True Religion, has listed her Malibu luxurious mansion  for $18.45 million, a report from LA Times said on Wednesday.

According to the report, Gold's mansion is actually a Spanish-style residence which was built in 2001. The home has a very elegant courtyard entry and offers a panoramic view of the coastline. Aside from the spectacular view of the ocean, the home boasts elaborate and well-designed interiors. The house also features "distressed beamed ceilings and imported stone fireplaces."

"A paddle tennis court, a putting green, a pergola, an outdoor fireplace and a swimming pool with a spa complete the 1.6 acres of grounds. A pathway leads down to the beach below. The property had been listed at $26.5 million earlier this year," the report said.

The home has a spacious "living room, a dining room, a gourmet kitchen, an office, five bedrooms, and six bathrooms." Future residents who are inclined in sports can spend their time in a gymnasium.

"The five-bedroom, six-bathroom Spanish-style home is expected to list for $26.5 million with Amy Alcini and Cormac O'Herlihy of Sotheby's International Realty in Malibu. In late 2011 it was listed for $17.5 million with another brokerage and taken off the market in April 2012. It was relisted with that brokerage for $24.95 million in May 2014, and removed in November," The Wall Street Journal reports.

"A set of 187 outdoor stairs (she knows because she uses them for exercise) lead down to the beach. Furnishings, which are negotiable, include a custom-built, 15-foot-long table and a clay chandelier from South Africa.  Ms. Gold, 48, left True Religion in 2007. She now works as a fashion business consultant and is working on a business-memoir titled "Gold Standard." She is selling the home because the last of her three children is entering college," the report said.
