Rumors about the upcoming "LG G5" have been making rounds on the internet especially now that the expected launch is coming near. The latest of which, is that the "LG G5" will come with a metal unibody build. This report came from the company's home land itself, South Korea, and if the rumor is true, this would make the device LG's first ever flagship phone to come in metal (at least after four plastic flagships).
LG's decision may have been influenced by the success of its rivals (Samsung and Apple) in their use of the same handset material. Both the mentioned LG competitors have been using the metal body design in the last many years, and we can't deny how successful their flagship releases are.
As per GSMarena, the "LG G5" may be hitting the road by early next year, probably the same season as the release of the Samsung Galaxy S7. The G5 may be made available immediately after its announcement.
Although all these are but rumors about the exciting release of the "LG G5", it isn't exactly a major decision for the company to go for metal this time. First of all, a metal unibody construction is what people keep describing as a 'premium' material. Secondly, the material has proven its success in smartphones, it's not just a fad, it's actually a great smartphone build.
So in case the company goes for the rumored phone construction, it's almost certain that the "LG G5" will be more 'premium' than ever. The previous flagships of LG have received praises and good words, so this upcoming "LG G5" has a lot of expectations to meet. However, with that kind of body improvement, it's also easy to assume that the "LG G5" may not be following its predecessors price-wise. Let's just keep our fingers crossed that the phone will not be too much to afford.
