Grodd (David Sobolov) is coming back to 'The Flash Season 2.' Episode 7 will welcome back the psychic and extra strong gorilla into the limelight as he comes back into Central City and cause havoc.
This will be another trouble for a currently not-so-superhero Barry (Grant Gustin) and the S.T.A.R. Labs team. As expected, this will surprise Patty Spivot (Shantel VanSanten) because she had no idea of the giant gorilla who once kidnapped her partner will be out there in the city. She will find out when she stumbles upon Grodd's trail in the latest promotional video for episode 7 of 'The Flash Season 2.'
Moreover, Patty will call Joe (Jesse Martin) and tell him that she already has the analysis back on the hair samples they found from the robbery scene wherein bulks of intelligence-enhancing drugs were stolen. She also says that there is something weird with the samples - they are not human hair.
"They are from a gorilla," Joe cuts her off knowing what is going on.
Patty would be circled as to how Joe knows who the guy behind the mystery hair is. Joe runs off to warn Barry and Cisco (Carlos Valdes) about the possible knowledge of Patti on how Grodd is loitering around the city.
Also, the promotional video for episode 7 reveals that Patti really had a knowledge about Grodd.
"I've heard this urban legend of a gorilla that lives in the sewer systems," she says.
Apprently, it will become clearer to her that Barry and Joe are hiding something from her - and she is getting really really suspicious about it.
The fun begins when Grodd kidnaps Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker) which will coerce Barry to find a way to save her despite him not having his usual speed.
Grodd's last appearance was in a subway in Season 1 of The Flash when a train knocked him out in order for Barry to save Joe.
"The Flash" airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. EST on the CW.
What do you think of Grodd's comeback in The Flash Season 2? Will Patty be okay when she learns about Grodd?
