When the episodic "Resident Evil: Revelations 2", or "Biohazard Revelations 2" in Japan, was released February 24, 2015 the game's deluxe edition is about $29.99 on the Xbox Store.
This installment, which is the tenth and the episodic sequel to the first "Resident Evil: Revelations" released in 2012, revolves around the main protagonist Claire Redfield accompanied by Barry Burton's daughter Moira. The game play includes four main episodes titled, "Penal Colony", "Contemplation", "Judgment," and Metamorphosis and two bonus episodes "Little Miss" and "Struggle."
According to VG 24/7, "Resident Evil: Revelations 2" was not received equally well as the first one, but it was not that bad. The good news is that Episode One or "Penal Colony" is now free on Xbox One Store.
A little later, according to Gamespot, "Resident Evil Revelations 2's" episode one, which used to be for $6 when it was originally released in February 2015, is now free across all console versions except for PC. This episode follows Claire Redfield and Moira Burton who were kidnapped. They wake up in a cell on a remote island filled with horrible blood-thirsty monsters. Episode One, or "Penal Colony", Raid Mode, which is an arcade-like take on the Resident Evil lore in which the player clears the area of a huge wave of enemies. So players who are interested must act now while it is still free.
The rest of the of the episodes are still at $6 while the two bonus episodes are $5 each. Gamespot gives the game a review score of 7/10. Its very own Peter Brown claims, "With tastes of both classic and modern Resident Evil, Revelations 2 has something for everyone, but it would be served better if it was a little more focused and had a little less Moira."
