Barry Bonds, retired MLB baseball star, has just sold his more than 17-square-foot Beverly Hills mansion for $22 million. According to Trulia, the 1.85-acre property was listed for $25 million in Jan. last year. The initial asking was chopped in Dec. to $23.5 million.
The Mediterranean-style two-story luxury mansion includes seven bedrooms and 13 bathrooms, offering unmatched California living. Bonds acquired the estate for $8.3 million in 2002 and spent heavily to update it. He included an impressive foyer, stunning hand-painted Trompe L'oeil murals, and Venetian plaster all over. The soaring 30-foot-high ceiling is a major attraction of this faux Tuscan villa.
This Beverly Park mansion offers tranquility and privacy. In addition, it also features a gym, game room, 12-seat home theater, music room, wine room, sports court, steam/ sauna, hydrotherapy jacuzzi tub room, Swedish full-body shower therapy room, a trophy and awards display room, along with an elevator to get you to the second floor.

Bonds is among the biggest United States' sports personalities in the last two decades. He rose to superstardom in Pittsburg, winning his maiden league MVP award. In 2002, he led his team to the World Series and earned a permanent place in the history of baseball.
