'Heroes Reborn' Updates and Spoilers: First Look on Series' Tie-in-ebook to Bridge Gap Between Heroes and Reborn; What Will Happen to Season Finale?

'Heroes Reborn' is definitely far from the plot of the Heroes which was shown on NBC for four seasons starting from 2006. There are tons of new characters, and the old ones from the previous show are no longer in the spin-off. This might be confusing for the fans of the said series, so German publisher Bastei Lübbe AG will release six tie-in ebooks to fill in the missing links between the two.

The first book is entitled 'Brave New World,' a book version of the first episode of Reborn, originally written by Tim Kring. This is followed by the book with the title 'A Matter of Trust,' written by renowned Star Wars novelist Timothy Zahn. The 2nd book tackles the story of Father Mauricio.

Entertainment Weekly gives us a glimpse of the second book: For that matter, with no body and no eyes, how was he even seeing any of this? And then he noticed something he hadn't spotted before. In the faint reflected glow from the still-burning headlights he could see a cloud of white smoke or mist gathered around him. No. Not around him. The cloud of smoke was him.

Meanwhile, in the Heroes Reborn TV series, IBTimes talks about the latest promo video of  Episode 10 entitled, '11:53 to Odessa,' which would also be the season finale. This revealed that Nathan would have to join forces with Erica to bring about his mission of saving mankind. At one point, Malina was looking for Bennet but only found his glasses. The preview also teases that Malina will discover her real power as she is able to control earth's elements. Ren would search for Miko again to fulfill a new mission, which would most likely be set in the future since she was shown in a desert in the year 7957.

The fall finale of "Heroes Reborn" will air this Thursday at 8 p.m. ET on NBC.
