All Xbox Live Gold members can play NBA 2K16 for free on Xbox One this weekend as part of the company's Free Play Days, Microsoft announced recently.
The Live Gold members can play the full version of NBA 2K16 from November 20 to November 22. The game will be on sale the following week. According to an article on Gamespot.com, "all progress (including Achievements) earned during the free play period will carry forward to the full game."
The article further stated that the free play period will officially begin at 9 AM PST on November 20 and will run through 11:59 PM PST on November 22. Participating players will find the game in the Gold Member area of the Xbox One dashboard. The game can also be downloaded from Xbox.com.
The game's file size is 44.89 GB.
There is another good news for NBA 2K16 diehard fans. Techtimes mentioned that if the players find the game enjoyable after the free gameplay this coming weekend, Microsoft revealed that they will have the game on sale as well although they haven't unveiled how much the discount would be.
Due to the high demand of the game, it seemed like the players cannot stop playing. Others want to try it out. It scored 8/10 based from Gamespot review and 9/10 in IGN.
Reviewer Josiah Renaudin said, "Few sports games come close to providing a more authentic and fun virtual representation of the real thing, and even if this is the least user-friendly entry in years, I can't stop playing it."
NBA 2K16 is available across platforms, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3, PS4, and PC and free companion app, MyNBA 2K16 on iTunes and Google Play.
