Maynard James Keenan, lead vocalist of metal band 'Tool,' has listed his estate in the affluent Beachwood neighborhood in the Los Angeles area for $2,795,000, reports Curbed. Located at the top of Beachwood Canyon, this Mediterranean-style house does not have any adjoining neighbors, thus, offering privacy and seclusion.
Sitting on a 0.27-acre lot, Keenan's two-story home offers 3,750-square-foot living space, including four bedrooms and five full and one half bathrooms. The spacious living room opens to a wonderful outdoor courtyard and pool area. Built in 2001, the home comes with an apothecary-style kitchen island with several cupboards, and exquisite chandeliers the singer brought from Zorro.
The outside includes large grounds, a stand-alone garage, swimming pool and a guest house, which can also be used as a recording studio. There is a large patio, where one can soak in the Jacuzzi. The listing says that this luxurious estate offers beautiful views of parks and city lights below.
The home features central air-conditioning, zoned air-conditioning and central as well as zone heating systems.
Property records show that the home was sold for the last time in 1980 for just $80,000. It is listed with broking agent Keller Williams Larchmont.
