The "Hunger Games" star Jennifer Lawrence admitted she was wracked with guilt after kissing and filming a sex scene with her married co-star Chris Pratt for the new movie "Passengers".
Lawrence also disclosed that she had felt so out of sorts she had to call her mother for reassurance when she went home.
"He was married... And it was to be my first time kissing a married man, and guilt is the worst feeling in your stomach. And I knew it was my job, but I couldn't tell my stomach that. So I called my mom, and I was like, 'Will you just tell me it's OK?' It was just very vulnerable," Lawrence said in an article on TheSpec.com.
According to a Vanity Fair article, Lawrence said filming the sex scene was really "bizarre". No, nothing went wrong on the set. Lawrence said everyone was "perfectly professional". But her kissing scenes with both Liam Hemsworth and Josh Hutcherson in the "Hunger Games" films were very much different from the intimate scene in "Passengers" -- especially because Pratt is married.
How did the Academy Award-winning actress prepare for this scene? She disclosed she got really, really drunk to steady her nerves.
"I got really, really drunk. But that led to more anxiety when I got home because I was like, 'What have I done? I don't know.' And he was married," said Lawrence.
"Passengers" is a sci-fi romance set in space. Lawrence plays Aurora in the film, who is the love interest of Pratt's character Jim Preston. The movie is set for release in December next year.
