Jesse McCartney, the singer-songwriter-actor who has also lent his voice to 'Theodore' in 'Alvin and the Chipmunks', has reportedly purchased a home in the Hollywood Hills area of Los Angeles for $1.96 million.
The Trulia Blog broke news of the sale, which is calling the home's features a 'rarity in Hollywood Hills.'
Public records of the residence state that the home is a single-family, 3635 square-foot residence sitting on a private, secluded lot. Interiors of the sleek home feature floor-to-ceiling glass windows, wood-beamed ceilings and paneled hardwood flooring all enclosed in an open-floor plan.
Living spaces of the home include a living area, an open kitchen, a huge master suite with an attached bath and walk-in closet. There is a state-of-the-art gym as well.
Outside, the home has a salt-water pool, a sauna, a lounging area, a wine cellar and a four-car garage.

McCartney's previous home was a two-bed, two full and one half-bath pad, which he sold in 2010 for a $177,000 loss! It was offered for rent in 2009 asking $4900 a month. That residence was a sleek pad too.

On the professional front, McCartney will soon be releasing his new single 'Superbad' from his upcoming album 'In Technicolor'. The song is slated to hit the web by the end of March. He also has a movie contract in his kitty. He will be lending his voice to another cartoon character, specifically a plane called 'Cyclone' in the upcoming movie 'Wings', reports StarPulse.com.
"I got a call from [producers] Simka Entertainment, and heard it was an animated movie for kids, which I enjoy doing, so I jumped onboard. One of my buddies from All My Children was doing it also, so I thought it might be fun," McCartney told the publication.
