‘Rocket League: Chaos Run’ Release Date & DLC: Game Has New Cars And Accessories; First 'Non-Regulation' Pitch Coming Soon, Psyonix Confirms

Game developer Psyonix has announced that it will roll out a new DLC for its popular game, "Rocket League." The company said that the game's new contents are expected to be released in December. It was said that all contents will be contained in the "Chaos Run" pack, a report from iDigital Times said on Thursday.

According to the report, players who bought the "Rocket League: Chaos Run" for $3.99 at launch will be able to get two additional cars to complete their collection. It was said that the "Chaos Run" pack will include "six decals for each of its new vehicles, along with paint jobs, rocket trails and antenna toppers that can be used on any vehicle." Aside from these, what can be expected in the game's upcoming DLC are new trophies which can be earned by the players.

Listed below are the contents of the "Chaos Run" pack, according to US PlayStation Blog.

  • Two new Battle-Cars: Ripper and Grog
  • 12 new decals (six for each new Battle-Car)
  • Two new paint types (Camo and Sun-Damaged)
  • Two new wheels (Ripper and Grog)
  • Two new Rocket Trails (Sandstorm, Nuts and Bolts)
  • Three new Toppers (Boombox, Cow Skull, Mohawk)
  • Three new antennas (Bomb Pole, Radioactive, Retro Ball - Wasteland)
  • Five new Trophies

"This pack will include two new cars, 12 new decals, two new paint jobs, wheels and trails, three car toppers, and three antennas. There will also be five new trophies available with the pack too. However, that is not the biggest news concerning Rocket League DLC. December will see the Wasteland arena come online for free alongside the Chaos Run pack. Wasteland is the first non-regulation arena to be introduced to the game, with slopes around the perimeter and the playing field itself is bigger than other stadiums. This arena is based on the one from Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars.  The update will also include new music from Kevin Riepl, as well as additional garage items," The Sixth Axis reported.
