"19 Kids and Counting" star, Josh Duggar, has been plagued by rumors and troubles alike and it is far from over. In the past few months, Anna Duggar's husband has been spending his time in rehab following the revelation that he cheated on his wife and has porn addiction.
In a statement released when he went to rehab, Duggar said, "I am so ashamed of the double life that I have been living and am grieved for the hurt, pain and disgrace my sin has caused my wife and family, and most of all Jesus and all those who profess faith in Him."
This time around, Josh might be going to court as he is being sued for assault and battery by an adult entertainer based on court documents which landed on People's desk. The report says that the acts Duggar is being accused of what happened after an alleged sexual encounter.
Danica Dillon, married and a mother of two, is an adult film actress and a model, says he "assaulted her to the point of causing her physical and emotional injuries." It allegedly happened in a strip club in Philadelphia in March. Her real name is Ashley Stamm-Northup. She is asking $500,000 in damages for having suffered emotionally and physically. She has also been seeing a pyschiatrist for severe anxiety.
The legal paper says, added by People, that Dillon was a featured performer in a club in Philly and Duggar allegedly paid her for lap dances, after which, he invited her to his room and they had consensual sex where he allegedly mandhandled her. He apologized to her the following month, this time in a different club, and once again, he allegedly assaulted her.
In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Dillon says, "I had no clue who he was. He just looks like your average, everyday fan."
She added, "He threw me on the bed and, in all honesty, though it was consensual it more or less felt like I was being raped. I never said no, I am going to have to reiterate that, I never told him no. But I did push him back and push him off and say that's too rough that's too rough."
Dillon's attorney says that the case may be resolved within 9 to 18 months and since Duggar is in rehab, he may not have a lawyer yet.
