Karlie Kloss opens doors of her Nate Berkus-designed Manhattan townhouse to Vogue

Karlie Kloss, the long-legged supermodel who has endorsed several upscale brands like Christian Dior, Gucci and Louis Vuitton, opened the doors of her Manhattan townhouse to Vogue.

Kloss purchased the chic home last year after searching for a pad for almost two years.

In the feature, the Victoria's Secret angel tells the magazine that she has never been a homeowner before and since this was her first time, she didn't know how to go about decorating it.

However, she had some vision for it.

"I wanted to mix and match the same way I do with fashion - wearing, say, a beautiful Saint Laurent tailored blazer with an H&M T-shirt," she said.

Kloss met Nate Berkus through a mutual friend and he helped her do up the interiors, including a room where she can curl up on a huge couch to watch football, cheering on her favorite team - the St. Louis Rams. But her favorite place is the kitchen, where she makes her famous cookies. She has a picture of herself and chef Christina Tosi, who teamed up with her to make "Karlie's Kookies" for Momofuku Milk Bar in New York City.

"As models, we're dressed in everyone else's designs, but this is my space. It's definitely been an opportunity for me to learn who I am," Kloss tells Vogue.

The multi-level home has a lot of unused space as of now, with a guest bedroom in the upper level left empty. Kloss calls the room a "shove-everything-in-there-and-close-the-door room." But she hopes on filling up the empty spaces with souvenirs from the places she travels to.

She was recently spotted vacationing with her friend Taylor Swift on the West Coast.
