Gloria Allred revealed on a television interview on Tuesday that she was contacted by Charlie Sheen's exes after the actor confessed on the Today show that he has been diagnosed with HIV four years ago, an article on BBC.co.uk reported.
Allred mentioned that she was "contacted by women with reference to Charlie Sheen and their rights. I have no comment on what will happen next."
On the Today interview, Sheen said that it was "impossible" for him to pass HIV to any of his former partners. The 50-year-old actor also hoped that the interview would put a stop to the attacks that he suffered, describing these as an "onslaught, this barrage of attacks and of sub-truths of very harmful and mercurial stories about threatening the health of so many others, which couldn't be further from the truth."
He also disclosed that another reason he revealed his HIV diagnosis was because he wanted to avoid the "blackmail and extortion and circle of deceit" that had been going on for years.
Allred is known as a high-profile celebrity lawyer and is currently representing several clients who claimed that they were sexually assaulted by actor comedian Bill Cosby. She was also involved in cases against the late Michael Jackson, and OJ Simpson.
