Paris Hilton has inaugurated Paris Beach Club, her first real estate project at Azure Urban Resort Residences in Bicutan under the Manila municipality.
This is her maiden real estate venture with Century Properties Group, Inc., reports ABD-CBN News.
Describing the project as a "dream come true," 32-year-old Hilton told a news conference in Manila on Thursday that the three-level beach club includes an artificial beach made with fine sand and virtual beach waves.
The ground floor of this posh club features the lounge area, candy bar, playroom and locker rooms. A spa, gym, studio, game room and movie room are on the second floor, while the third floor is comprised of a restaurant, a fresco dining and a function room. In addition, the club has a Zen garden, an infinity pool and a playground.
Speaking on the occasion, Hilton, who did a major part of the designing, told reporters, "I really love the concept of Azure because I thought of how cool it is in the middle of the city to have a man-made beach that is so beautiful and breathtaking. I want to live here. If I lived in the Philippines, I would definitely live in Azure."
According to Century Properties COO John Victor Antonio, the fine sand for the artificial beach came from Balesin Island in Masbate. He added that the design team of his firm exchanged with Hilton for several months, with the hotel heiress providing her input through computer generated images.
"She designed every room here," Antonio said, adding that altogether 15 design books provided by Hilton were used to guide the design team.
Hilton, who arrived in Manila on March 9, quipped, "Real estate is something that I've always been involved in and this project is so perfect for me. I love designing."
Only residents of Azure and their guests are allowed to use the Paris Beach Club, which is one of four buildings that Century is expected to turn over this year.
