Harry Styles, one of the members of the global sensation One Direction, didn't plan to be famous. He wanted to be a lawyer.
ETOnline reported that One Direction members have their own sets of plans for themselves before they became popular. Harry Styles told the Entertainment Tonight's Samantha Harris, "I wanted to be a physiotherapist and then all my teachers told me, 'No jobs in that.' [So] I decided I wanted to be a lawyer."
Styles was only 16 years old when he first appeared on national television when he auditioned for "The X Factor."
He said, "This happened before I had to start working hard enough to become a lawyer," he added, "Now I can be like, I would have been a lawyer."
The other members, Louis Tomlinson and Niall Horan revealed their pre-fame aspirations as well. Tomlinson said he wanted to become a school teacher and he was almost there.
Compared to the two boys who were so sure about where they are heading, Horan seemed to have a more relaxed outlook with his future life.
He said, "I honestly don't have a clue what I would be doing. I don't know how I would have done on my exams, but I hope I would have gone to university. What would have happened there is a different story."
