The villain team-up movie "Suicide Squad" is scheduled to hit the movie theaters next year, and aside from its controversial rating, many sources are speculating on the stories that the movie will feature.
Movie Pilot says that it is possible that at least one of the squad members may be killed off in the film. According to the site, the death of a major character is a common cliché for many superhero movies, and these deaths provide the heroes a reason to keep on fighting. The site believes that since the squad is made up of supervillains, they would need a good enough reason to save the world.
The site speculates that the character that will most probably be killed off is Deadshot, who will be played by actor Will Smith. Movie Pilot thinks that the character has the largest "moral compass" in the group and is the one with the most heart.
Aside from that, there are also reports which revealed that Deadshot already has an enemy in the group in the character of The Joker, which will be played by Jared Leto. It was said that the film will be featuring a love triangle among Deadshot, The Joker and Harley Quinn, which will be played by Margot Robbie.
Speaking of The Joker, Movie News Guide reports that he will be a significant part of Harley Quinn's backstory. It was revealed that the movie will show how The Joker has been influential to her life and how she will try to break away from his shadow.
With the controversial rating of the movie, it is to be expected that the insanity levels of the characters will cross boundaries, and the movie assures that every move The Joker does will make the characters and even the fans hate him more.
"Suicide Squad" is scheduled for initial release on August 5, 2016.
