Yoshiaki Sukeno's 'Twin Star Exorcists' Manga Gets an Anime Series

"Twin Star Exorcists" manga is getting an anime adaptation. This manga written by Yoshiaki Sukeno is first published in 2013 on Jump Square and still currently running Shueisha's Jump SQ.

Crunchyroll reports that Jump Square magazine has already revealed the special announcement that was stated first week of November. According to the magazine, "Twin Star Exorcists" anime is already green-lit.

If recalled, Fandom Post had also reported that Shueisha's Jump SQ would bring an important announcement concerning "Twin Star Exorcists" manga. In its article it mentioned that "The magazine is going to bring out an important announcement with the next issue on December 4th, which is timed to the manga's two-year anniversary."

True enough, the special announcement has come. Anime News Network reveals further that in the December issue of Jump Square, it has formally announced what everyone has been anticipating- the anime adaptation of Yoshiaki Sukeno's "Twin Star Exorcists."

The "Twin Star Exorcists" also known as "Sōsei no Onmyōji" in Japan "would would have an important announcement in the January issue," according to Jump SQ.

ANN also says that Viz Media will release the series in North America. In addition, the compiled 3rd volume of "Twin Star Exorcists" will be published in January.

If you are not familiar with the story of "Twin Star Exorcists," Viz Media has a description of Yoshiaki Sukeno's manga. It reads:

"Rokuro dreams of becoming anything but an exorcist! Then mysterious Benio turns up. The pair are dubbed the "Twin Star Exorcists" and learn they are fated to marry... Can Rokuro escape both fates? When Rokuro's best friend Ryogo goes missing, Rokuro is forced to ask Benio for help to enter Magano, the realm of the evil Kegare, to rescue him!"

"Twin Star Exorcists's" creator Yoshiaki Sukeno launched this manga series in November 2013. This manga is categorized as a "new-generation onmyō fantasy." Onmyō means ancient Japanese occultism. To date, there are already 6 volumes that have been compiled. The 6th compilation has been released early September this year.
