Famous professional basketball star Gilbert Arenas is selling his Encino mansion for $3.495 million. The basketball player's real estate property is a luxurious Mediterranean-inspired residence. The home was built in 1951 and sits "at the end of a long driveway with a motor court and three-car garage."
It was said that Arenas has made several improvements on the property since he acquired it. Records show that he bought the whole property back in 2007 for $3.495 million, a report from Los Angeles Times said.
According to the report, Arena's Encino mansion features flooring that is done in both "dark wood and travertine." The posh residence has a hexagonal floor plan that features the spacious open-plan living areas. The living areas are said to have elegant "vaulted ceilings, a center-island kitchen, a wood-paneled office."
"The home has five bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms, five bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms in more than 5,800 square feet of space. A total of five fireplaces are found in the living and family rooms, the den, the master bedroom and master bathroom. Bi-folding doors open to a large covered patio with a built-in barbecue and outdoor fireplace. Elsewhere on the more than half-acre grounds is a swimming pool with a raised spa," the report said.
