'Fifty Shades of Grey' Earns A Parody From Marlon Wayans; Comedian Says His Version is 'Steamier' Than The Original Movie

Veteran parodist Marlon Wayans has added the erotic novel turned movie 'Fifty Shades of Grey' into his wide collection of spoofed flicks.

Much known for his films 'Scary Movie' and 'White Chicks,' Marlon Wayans is returning to the big screen in two months with another hilarious movie spoof. This time he chose to do a parody of the slow paced and mysterious 'Fifty Shades of Grey,' a movie that lends itself to a comedic treatment according to the actor.

In the trailer, Marlon Wayans portrays Christian Black, a mysterious sadist entrepreneur. He and co-star Hawk re-create the 'elevator scene' wherein Anastasia Steele says goodbye to Christian Grey as the elevator closes. In this version, Hawk's head is caught several times by the doors. Referred to as slapstick-packed by Variety, the flick also features parodied scenes from Magic Mike and includes references to Kim Kardashian's viral Paper magazine cover.

Yahoo! movies reports that Wayans had the chance to meet the bestselling author of the erotic novel. He narrated that he was able to talk to E.L. James and that he told her that he will be taking a piss out of her work.  "She was a sport. She is a sweetheart," he said, referring to James.

Wayans compared his version to the original one and claims his is steamier, but the real movie is more naked. "You know what, I do that stuff. And I don't have a helicopter! I wanted to learn something [but realized] I need to teach Christian Grey some stuff!" said the actor.

The Wayans brothers co-authored the script with writer Rick Alvarez. Wayns and Hawk will be joined by Jane Seymour, Kali Hawk, Mike Epps and Fred Willard, among others. It will be directed by Michael Tiddes and is scheduled to be released on Juanuary 2016.
