"Scandal" season 5 proved that there is more to get hooked for in the lives of Olivia Pope and President Fitz. While Olivia is now handling the future weight of being President Fitz' first lady, Inquisitr spoils that his father, Rowan Pope's life is on the line. Will Olivia's big bad papa survive this future torment?
"Scandal" season 5 winter finale episode entitled "Baby It's Cold Outside," Rowan will be a captive of Huck and it seems that the old guy is not bothered by this thought at all. Rowan who has the reputation of being a great manipulator works his words to Huck, who on the other hand is not a good receiver of anything that addresses his family and his parenting style.
Rowan started telling Huck about how "parenting" pays "no gratitude." And eventually, the old papa of Olivia is centering his words to Huck's son Javi which made Huck ticked off.
"There's no gratitude in parenting. I don't know why we do it," Rowan tells Huck based from the article of Inquisitr. "Have you seen Javi recently? No? Do you think he misses you? Or do you think he's happier now that he knows that his insane shell of a human father is out of the picture again?"
Rowan even added another bomb to Huck saying, "One could argue that [Javi is] better off being parented by one of the random men who have run in and out of the house over the years."
After hearing this, Huck strangles Rowan and there are no clues yet if Rowan survives.
"Scandal" spoilers also revealed that Mellie on the other hand is taking a new stride in her life being the newly-elected senator. This is one striking moment for Mellie and along with her newfound power, will she plan some schemes in the future to topple down Olivia and Fitz?
