“Fallout 4” News: Bug Discovered in the Game, Players Get Booted Out Upon Arriving at Monsignor Plaza

"Fallout 4" had record-breaking sales upon release just a few days ago and many were really enjoying the game. Until a bug was recently discovered that boots a player out, and back to the desktop. It always happens when a player arrives at the Monsignor Plaza.

The glitch, dubbed as the "game breaking" bug, was first experienced on the PC version, soon, Xbox and PlayStation 4 players have started to report it as well. It was first posted last Nov. 11 on Bethesda Games Studios' forum, and has quickly spread out to the "Fallout" community.

However, not all players have experienced the said bug. Several have already finished the game and encountered no issues at all. However, there are still a lot of players having the bug issue. Several workarounds were also attempted, but to no avail. Some have tried approaching the Monsignor Plaza on every side, some tried loading the game by other means, while others have tried reinstalling back the whole game. So far, nothing has worked yet, as PC Gamer reported.

Prior to this, there were a few early reports about minor glitches that players encountered in the game, but were not as tough as this one. There was even a report about an exploit that can give an unlimited amount of bottle caps, the game's currency, by repeated selling ammo back to the vendor.

On a side note, "Fallout 4" has become so popular that Bethesda was able to ship 12 million copies of the game, worth more than $750 million, just on the first day alone and considered a record-breaking feat. The game was released last Nov.10.

Bethesda, the game publisher, still has yet to make a comment on the issue at hand. The players are hoping that a fix can be provided by Bethesda for this major issue at the soonest possible time.
