It is about time to find out who is America's next top model from Cycle 22. "America's Next Top Model" is down to final four and it is Nyle DiMarco vs. Mikey Heverly and Lacey Rogers vs. Mame Adjei. Only one girl and one guy will reach the final round.
Last week, Mikey and Lacey were at the bottom two. Having their scores tied, no one was sent home. Here is the recap of last week's episode where Nyle bounced back after slipping in the past couple of weeks. Who can take the top two slots?
"America's Next Top Model" Cycle 22 Episode 15 showed the first part of the finale. Aside from the change in the competition that it will now be girl vs. girl and guy vs. guy instead of competing against each other, it was also revealed that the models will no longer be scored. They need to create great photos right then and make their presentations to Tyra. At the end of last week's episode, Tyra asked to make a presentation to show that they have what it takes to become America's next top model.
The final four did a photoshoot for Nylon magazine at a high school swimming pool, with a theme "breaking into" the pool. Mikey was confident and Nyle was nervous saying Mikey has more experience. Yu Tsai loved Mikey when he stepped into the set, but he seemed confused between confidence and cockiness. Meanwhile, having won best photo twice, Mame was also confident. Yu Tsai was impressed with Lacey's performance on the shoot, until she became "too sexy."
Then they did a photoshoot of a campaign for Zappos Couture, the biggest in the completion as per Yu Tsai, which will show their transformation from innocent to fierce.
The next day, previously eliminated contestants were back to join the top four in the final runway. It wasn't a very good reunion for Justin and Mame as Justin went to confront Mame about Mikey. Justin said the trust is gone, but Mame said she doesn't want this to be the end for the two of them.
Apparently, Devin told the former contestants that Mame and Mikey might have hooked up in the cabin. Devin said he heard noises that suggest Mikey and Mame had sex, although the next morning the two said nothing happened. Devin doubted, and so did Nyle.
Going back to the real concern, Tyra appeared at the backstage to tell the models that it's time to make a cut. Fans would figure out in the next episode who will do the showdown in the final runway.
