'Heroes of Paragon' Takes On 'Clash of Clans' This December When It Comes to iOS and Android

Another developer has decided to take on Supercell's successful "Clash of Clans" with "Heroes of Paragon" and its 3D graphics and ambitious base vs base battle feature.

Supercell's "Clash of Clans" contender is from indie game developer and publisher EVERYDAYiPLAY, who is also known for popular mobile game "Vikings Gone Wild." Aside from the Facebook Canvas through WebGL, according to Touch Arcade, it is currently offered in Poland and Canada on iOS 8.0 with a download size of 74MB. So far, the game has been received positively. Touch Arcade quotes a certain Robert K., "Finally, a proper sequel to all the clash of clones."

A forum member HallmarkCard also posted, "Got this on my Canadian account. Gorgeous graphics! Very detailed indeed, must look amazing on the iPad pro. I enjoyed Vikings go wild, so expected graphics like that game but wow, I was wrong." The user continued, "It's base versus base, no attacking only inanimate things. I like it so far! Remains to be seen, if it becomes a drudgery of a grind or gets super boring but, I am enjoying it for now."

Those outside of Poland and Canada need not fret. According to Gamasutra, EVERYDAYiPLAY has announced that "Heroes of Paragon" will be released worldwide on Dec. 3 on iOS and Android.

According to Touch Arcade, it will differentiate from "Clash of Clans" with features likes Base vs Base combat, intense Unit vs Unit real-time tactical strategy, spells and over 600 magic runes to use in battle and towers will also come face to face. The YouTube trailer also says that there will be storylines and epic boss battles.

"Everything was going well in the world of Paragon, we were at peace... and then the evil Violet Force came... Since that day we have been desperately trying to keep our world intact. We will fight until death to protect what we hold dear. Will you join us?" quoted from the game's heading.
