"Heroes" Claire Bennet, the cheerleader with the ability to heal superfast is no longer around in "Heroes Reborn" and a new e-book explains what happened to her.
In the original "Heroes" TV series, Hayden Panettiere's character Claire Bennet was one of the most beloved by fans which is why many were perplexed that she is no longer part of the reboot "Heroes Reborn." According to Entertainment Weekly, Bennet was "killed off" in the first episode of the new version of the series but nothing specific were given about her demise. In the succeeding episodes, bits and pieces were revealed about the circumstances surrounding the cheerleader's death.
This is where "Save the Cheerleader, Destroy the World" e-book comes into play for all fans of Bennet who want to know what really happened to the feisty cheerleader. It is actually the fifth installment of "Heroes Reborn" e-books that are tied-in to the television series. Aside from shedding light on Bennet's death, the six books also delve into backstories that are not shown in the TV version. Book number five, though, tells everything about the Claire Bennet's missing chapters of her adventures.
Meanwhile, in a report by Variety, it was mentioned that the original and the reboot have contrasting starts. "Heroes" was first aired in 2006 and it was a groundbreaking success. But subsequent seasons did not do as well as the well-received start and so producers decided to make a new version. But the reboot already started unraveling in its first season and only made waves in the more recent episodes which have garnered more interest as the plot progressed. The show has taken advantage of old characters returning for another run but there are times it could do with a little help from previous personalities that are no longer around. New characters cannot hold much ground which is why critics look at the show as faltering again.
