‘Malcolm in the Middle’ star Frankie Muniz sells Hollywood Hills home for $3.05 million

Frankie Muniz, the "Malcolm in the Middle" star, has reportedly sold his home in Hollywood Hills two months after relisting the place.

While the listing records at Realtor.com do not show how much the home sold for, the Los Angeles Times is reporting that the house sold for $3.05 million.

Muniz's residence first hit the market in October 2010 for $3.2 million. Failing to find a buyer, Muniz offered it as a rental for $10,000 a month in 2011. In 2012, the home was listed again for $3.1 million and was taken off the market that December. He last listed the place in January 2014 for $3.1 million.

Listing records of the home state that the residence is a 4,200-square-foot single-family home sitting on a 7,248-square-foot lot. Comprised of five bedrooms and four bathrooms, interiors of the two-story house boast hardwood flooring, large glass doors, windows and drywall ceilings.

The private gated residence has several balconies offering beautiful views of the city, a swimming pool and a patio.

Muniz has another Arizona property listed for sale with a $2.9 million price tag. He purchased the home in 2010 for $2.65 million. Check out the property, here.

Muniz grew up in Phoenix. After "Malcolm in the Middle" ended its seven-season run in 2006, he returned to there to lead a normal life, which apparently, helped him stay scandal-free, unlike some other child stars.

After his stint on TV, Muniz took his talents to racing and music. He joined "Kingsfoil," a rock band in 2012, as a drummer. However, more recently he announced his departure from the band in an official Facebook statement.

"Very sad to announce that Feb 7th at the University of Wyoming was my final show performing as the drummer of Kingsfoil. Due to scheduling conflicts in the coming months, the guys in the band decided to replace me as the drummer a few weeks ago. Although I'm sad about not being a part of the band, I understand their decision and support them moving forward!"
