Vince Vaughn bought former USC coach Lane Kiffin’s Manhattan Beach home

Vince Vaughn is reportedly the buyer of former University of Southern California coach Lane Kiffin's Manhattan Beach, Calif., residence.

Just weeks back, it was widely reported that Lane Kiffin sold the contemporary pad for $6.5 million; however, not much was known about the buyer. Now, the Los Angeles Times is reporting that Vaughn coughed up the amount to splurge on the luxury property.

According to the listing records, the home is a 7,308-square-foot gated residence sitting on a secluded half-acre lot. The posh place has six bedrooms and seven bathrooms with vaulted ceilings, hardwood flooring and French windows and wooden doors.

Living spaces of the house include a formal living area, a separate dining place, a gourmet kitchen with a breakfast bar and another sitting area. Outside, the home has a saltwater pool and a spa, a fire pit, a kitchen, a detached guest house and manicured greens. A children's play place and a three-car garage are also included.

Back in April 2013, Vaughn purchased a $3.9 million residence in the hill-town of La Cañada Flintridge in San Gabriel Valley in LA when his wife, Kyla, was pregnant with their second child.

The home is a 5,563-square-foot colonial-style house with five bedrooms and six bathrooms, a swimming pool and a tennis court. Read more on the property, here.

Vaughn also owns a three-level penthouse sitting atop Chicago's Palmolive Building. He had listed it on the market for $16.8 million but hauled it off in February when it failed to sell. It was offered for rent for $9,500 a month.

The couple welcomed Vernon Lindsay Vaughn on Aug. 9, 2013. They also have a 2-year-old daughter, Locklyn.
