Kanye West has reportedly dropped $4.5 million on a cozy pad in Manhattan Beach, Calif.
The Real Estalker is reporting that an investment trust, through which West purchased several other properties in the past, has shelled out the money to buy an oceanfront duplex in the area.
While the exact location of the home is still a mystery, sources told the publication that the home has two bedrooms, one bathroom and a three-car garage.
News of the alleged purchase comes a few months after reports of West and fiancé Kim Kardashian house hunting surfaced. However, it was then touted that the celebrity couple was looking for a large secluded place to live in with baby North.
Currently, Kardashian and West live apart, the former with her mother Kris Jenner while the other has moved back into his bachelor pad, reports The Daily Mail.
West's bachelor pad had an elaborate stint on the listing market as well. The home went on and off the market several times, once falling into escrow. However, the home didn't manage to sell even with a few price chops and is now off the market after West decided to move back in while his and Kardashian's Bel Air property is under construction.
The Bel-Air property has been in the headlines ever since the couple purchased it for $11 million last year. Kardashian and West are making considerable renovations to the mansion.
"Kim and Kanye want their first home to be perfect before they tie the knot. They are very particular about it all and everything has to be the best," a source told the Mirror.
But what exactly do they want to include in their first family home?
- A moat
- A basketball court
- A bowling alley
- A full-fledged home gym
- A cinema
- An elaborate nursery, which would employ at least three nannies.
Talking about living with her mom and the Bel-Air home's reconstruction, Kardashian told the Mirror:
"I truly didn't think our house would take this long. But now I love living here. It has everything I could ever need, and I love spending all of this time with my mom and sisters.
"I will be definitely ready to go when our house is finally done but going to miss it too. Nothing better than the whole family seeing our daughter daily!" she added.
