"Just Cause 3" Collector's Edition is revealed to contain a real grappling hook similar to what the video game's protagonist is using.
The companies responsible for the release of "Just Cause 3," Square Enix and Avalanche Studios, have announced that they will be selling "Just Cause 3" Collectors Edition. According to Gamespot, the set includes a grappling hook that has become famous among the video game's fan base as Rico's go-to tool when he needs to scale walls and climb high structures. It is 15 inches in size and every effort was made to ensure that the details are as close to what players and fans see on the game. While this piece of equipment is extremely useful to Rico, the item included in the Collector's Edition is purely for display only and is not recommended for actual use.
It is not the only item that fans willing to shell out $110 for will get. Included inside is an art book with hardcover. It has 32 pages of awesome art work based from the video games. There is also a map of the game included - the Medici grounds. There is also an item branded as "Weaponized Vehicle Pack" with no indications as to what is inside. However, it promises owners that it will help them launch an assault against the enemy in stylish fashion.
Meanwhile, according to Digital Trends, "Just Cause 3" is pushing the limits in promotional contests for the game. The contest for the best player is underway which will award the winner with his or her own private island. But Square Enix is not resting on its laurels as it also announced the search for the best launch trailer for the game. The possible winners have already been shortlisted and compiled in a YouTube playlist. According to the publishers, they were awed by the number of participants as well as the quality of their entries for the trailer contest.
