Gisele Bundchen and Tom Brady list Los Angeles mega-mansion for $50 million

Gisele Bundchen, the Brazilian super-model, and her quarterback husband Tom Brady have reportedly listed their Los Angeles mega-mansion on the open market with a $50 million price tag.

The listing comes just a year after the couple moved into the place. They spent $20 million on refurbishing the palatial pad to its current glory.

Bundchen and Brady snagged the property for $11 million in 2008, opening its doors to the Architectural Digest in 2013.

"I like simplicity and coziness. I want to live in a place that feels like a real home, where you can put your feet up on the couch and just relax," Bundchen told the publication.

"Gisele and I have eight sisters between us, and there are lots of kids. We built this house as a sanctuary for our family - a place where we can enjoy being together," Brady added. "It was important for us to plant roots for our family, and since we both enjoy the creative process, we decided to start from scratch."

According to TMZ, the power couple is selling in order to move full time to Brookline, Mass., where they are reportedly building another 14,300-square-foot castle on a prime five-acre lot.

Listing records of the Los Angeles home state that their current residence is a 13,890-square-foot, multi-winged, single-family home comprised of five bedrooms and nine bathrooms. Designed by famous architect Richard Landry, the home is a luxurious French Chateau boasting beamed ceilings, mixed flooring, antique doors and marble fireplaces.

Other features include a state-of-art gym, separate his and her walk-in closets in the master suite and a lavish chef's kitchen. The exteriors are even more beautiful with a koi-moat, a lagoon-shaped swimming pool, a chicken coop and manicured greens. A six-car garage is also available on the property, as is a custom playground for children in the backyard and eco-friendly appliances.

The couple also owns a $14 million condo in the posh One Madison building in Manhattan. The residence has beautiful views of the city, which "allows Brady to look down on Gotham as Batman," reports Page Six.
