Brandon Barash is returning to "General Hospital" this December, and Johnny Zacchara's presence in Port Charles could only mean trouble.
"Hold on tight 'GH' fans because things are going to get absolutely crazy good in Port Charles in the coming months," late last month, GH executive producer Frank Valentini announced. "We are so happy to have Brandon back with Johnny Z's unexpected arrival in Port Charles that can only spell one thing; t-r-o-u-b-l-e."
Johnny was last seen in Port Charles in February. Maxie (played by Kristie Storms) helped me flee from town to avoid being arrested by the police over criminal charges.
According to Celeb Dirty Laundry, spoilers tease that when Johnny Z returns in early December, he will be in trouble with Sonny Corinthos (played by Maurice Benard). Back in February, Johnny Z and his partner Carlos Rivera (played by Jeffrey Vincent Parise) were able to escape the prison cargo van when it slid off the road due to the storm. They will be involved in a shooting with Sonny and Julian (played by William DeVry) and Johnny will get a bullet shot on his shoulder.
Carlos asked Maxie for help but she did not want to get involved although she felt some compassion. She left her purse and Johnny was able to take her keys and leave the town.
Spoilers tease that Johnny could be involved in Sonny's shooting and is probably working with Paul Hornsby.
Barash joined the "General Hospital" cast in 2007. He is known for his roles in "Ten Inch Hero" (2007) and "The Mourning Hour" (2014). He also appeared in "Gilmore Girls" in 2002 and 2004, "24" in 2005, "CSI: Cyber" in 2015, and in "Major Crimes" in 2014 and 2015.
He has been married to GH co-star Kirsten Storms since June 2013.
"General Hospital" airs weekdays on ABC.
