Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes wedding could be long overdue. However, new reports claim that the pair could be tying the knot in December after she gave him an ultimatum.
Ryan and Eva have been together for four years, but it seems there's no wedding bells for the couple yet. Words have it that her patience is now running out, because after all this time, he's still reluctant to marry her. Marriage has been in the talks for a long time, but he hasn't proposed yet. New reports say that she couldn't longer wait, and now she has given him an ultimatum to marry her only until Christmas or she'll break up with him, Movie News Guide reports.
"[They've] talked about getting married for well over two years, before she got pregnant!" the source said. "It's getting ridiculous and she's told him she's not sure about their future together if he hasn't got a ring on her finger over Christmas."
A source told OK! Magazine via Enstarz that the "Ghost Rider" actress is upset with the fact that he's not yet proposing to her even they already have their one-year-old daughter, Esmeralda. The site claims she's more of an old-school, and she doesn't want it that their daughter is being raised out-of-wedlock. It seems that there's still a huge question if a December wedding will be happening with Ryan and Eva as it has been said that he's reportedly scared of taking a big step in his life.
Ryan and Eva ignited dating rumors after filming their first movie together, "The Place Beyond the Pines." She got pregnant with their first child, who was born December of 2014. The two shared a couple of rumors ever since with the latest involving "The Notebook" actor with his co-star Emma Stone. Both the popular couple has admitted in the past that there's no rush I getting married, according to Hollywood Take.
"It's not personal, it's just the institution," Eva said. "Why? If you love someone and you have a spiritual union, I just personally don't think [I need] a piece of paper because society tells me [it's necessary]."
