The fight between the Salvatore brothers and Julian (Todd Lasance) will be the main focus of the new episode of "The Vampire Diaries" season 7 to be aired this week.
According to Christian Post, Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Damon (Ian Somerhalder) will be attempting to stop Julian with his evil plans but the trailer for "The Vampire Diaries" season 7 episode 8 shows the brothers are helpless under Julian's powers. In the new episode, their mother Lily (Annie Wersching) will be hosting a part to celebrate Mary Louise (Teressa Liane) and Nora's (Scarlett Byrne) anniversary. However, Julian will be causing more trouble than a celebration and it is expected that the new episode will bring in some intense action.
In the trailer, Lily tries to mediate the action but Julian asks her which one of her sons she would like to kill. Damon can be heard in the video telling his mother "Let's get this over with...Kill me."
Meanwhile, Design & Trend reported that Caroline (Candice Accola-King) will be discovering that Stefan is the father of Valerie's (guest star Elizabeth Blackmore) child. As she comes to terms with the pregnancy of carrying another woman's babies, it seems like her potential relationship with Stefan might go down the drain. Fans also speculate that Stefan might just end up with Valerie after the future showed Caroline being engaged to Alaric (Matthew Davis).
On other news, it was also reported that executive producers Julie Plec and Caroline are looking for an actor to play the role of Alex in the show. According to the news Alex is described as a warm guy but someone who people shouldn't mess with. In addition it was said that this Alex runs a mysterious organization which will be revealed in the show in the episodes to come.
"The Vampire Diaries" season 7 episode 8 will air on The CW on December 3.
