Khloe Kardashian has reportedly roped in British interior designer Martyn Lawrence Bullard to do up the Calabasas home she just purchased from troubled pop heartthrob Justin Bieber.
Kardashian previously worked with Jeff Andrews on her Tarzana home she shared with Lamar Odom. She recently sold the residence to Kaley Cuoco and Ryan Sweeting.
Now that Kardashian and Odom are in the process of getting a divorce, the former decided to move, purchasing Bieber's Calabasas home for $7.2 million earlier this month.
A Kardashian insider told E!Online that the TV reality star is eager to get her new digs redecorated and move into the place. As for the designer, Bullard's resume includes a host of stars, including Felicity and Dustin Hoffman, Cher and Christina Aguilera, among others.
So what do celebrities really prefer when it comes to interiors? Talking about Hollywood home whims, Bullard told the New York Times:
"...they want to live out their fantasies. For example, Cher wanted to live in an Indian fantasy - she wanted to feel like she was the first wife of a maharajah. That was one of her requests. Elton's apartment here in L.A. - he wanted this disco, '70s, "Boogie Nights" kind of vibe, which went with the architecture of the building."
Kardashian may have a few interior plans for the home, but Bieber, who recently grabbed headlines for his alleged move to Atlanta, is now reportedly looking to buy a house on the Isle of Wight, an island on the English Channel, reports Showbiz Spy.
"Justin wants somewhere quiet to escape to when it all gets too much," a source told the publication.
"England has always appealed to him, and he wants somewhere that feels like it's cut off from the rest of the world - which is why he has his heart set on the Isle of Wight. His people are putting out feelers and trying to find him the perfect property for him and Selena to enjoy as and when they feel like it. Of course, money is no object," the source added.
Meanwhile, Kourtney Kardashian's unique Calabasas home is up for sale. The interiors of the home look like scenes meshed from "Alice in Wonderland" and "Beetlejuice." Read more on the property, here.
