Johnny Depp on Thursday revealed that he already knew his daughter Lily-Rose is sexually fluid before she came out to public last summer.
"The Pirates of the Caribbean" actor told the Daily Mail, "She's got thousands of followers on social media, and they were all taken completely by surprise. But not me. I already knew because she tells me everything. She's not afraid to say anything to me. We're super tight and I'm very proud of our relationship."
But now that Lily-Rose, 16, seems to be growing up too fast, the "Black Mass" actor can't stop worrying. "No matter how grown up she gets, I'll never stop worrying about her. It's a father-daughter thing," he said.
"It's such a funny thing when you see your daughter transitioning from your baby, your little girl, to suddenly being a young woman," Johnny said, "and when I see her with make-up and all that stuff, it's really disturbing, because she's a very beautiful girl, and it's all happening so fast."
Depp's daughter with ex Vanessa Paradis revealed that she is sexually fluid in August when posed for iO Tillett Wright's "The Self Evident Truths" project which is a "photographic document of 10000 people in the USA that identify as ANYTHING OTHER than 100% straight."
Lily-Rose is already making her own name in the show business and modeling industry. She starred in "Tusk" in 2014 and in the upcoming "Yoga Hosers" to be released in 2016. Other projects slated for next year that include Lily-Rose are "Planetarium," "Moose Jaws" and "The Dancer." Young Depp has been modeling for both Chanel and Karl Lagerfeld.
"Her becoming an actress was never my dream or my desire for her, but that's what she enjoys doing, and it's her passion and it's where she ended up. And she's got the goods - she can certainly deliver," Johnny shared.
