After Francis' (Toby Regbo) death, Mary's (Adelaide Kane) struggles will continue in the new episode of "Reign" season 3.
In "Reign" season 3 episode 6, Mary did everything she could to honor her husband's last wished and this is to help his mother Catherine (Megan Follows) to secure a spot in the regency in France to be able to protect the throne. Mary even had to remove the long standing alliance between France and her own country Scotland just to ensure that the court will consider Catherine as the caretaker of the French throne until her younger son Charles (Spencer MacPherson) is ready to be the king. Even though she was successful in earning the council's trust, Mary knows that she still has to remarry for political reasons. By the end of the episode, Mary reached out to the Spanish prince Don Carlos (guest star Mark Ghanimé) and invited him to have a talk about the possibility of an alliance.
According to Christian Today, the Spanish prince will gladly accept the invitation however; it was revealed that Mary will be uncovering a dark secret about him. It was reported that upon the discovery of this dark secret, Mary will seek Catherine's advice to help her handle the truth about Don Carlos.
In the official synopsis for "Reign" season 3 episode 7 as posted in Cartermatt, Mary asks the advice of her mother-in-law on how to handle the secret that the Spanish Prince has been keeping. Meanwhile it was also revealed that suspicions will arise when Gideon (Ben Geurens) who is the new ambassador from the English court arrives and his intentions are then questioned. Elsewhere, Bash's (Torrance Coombs) mission to pursue a mysterious killer will lead him to Greer's (Celina Sinden) tavern." In addition, the trailer shows that trouble will be coming to the French court.
"Reign" season 3 episode 7 will air on The CW on December 4.
