Billy Joel has reportedly relisted his Hamptons home for $22.9 million, just a little above its initial asking price of $22.5 million.
Joel's home debuted on the market in 2009. Failing to sell then, the home was price-chopped to $19.9 million the year later. Considering the recession-hit market, the price was reduced twice more to $18.5 million and $16.8 million, respectively. It was last listed for $23.5 million in 2013, reports Curbed.
Listing records of the Nate Berkus-designed home state that the residence is a 5,550-square-foot, single-family home sitting on a 1.07-acre lot. Comprised of four bedrooms and six bathrooms, the interiors of the oceanfront ranch-style house include beamed high ceilings and hardwood flooring, with large glass windows and doors that allow for panoramic views of the beach and ocean. A separate studio, a loft and open decks and terraces are also included.
"Captivating beachfront residence in Sagaponack Village South is situated on 145 feet of oceanfront as well as featuring sunset views of farmfield reserves," the listing reads, adding that the place was "expertly renovated" in 2009. "Tastefully decorated, the main house is turn-key complete."
It continues: "Terraces on both levels guarantee breathtaking views of stunning Sagaponack land and seascapes. Interior includes a first floor plan of master suite and master bath each with a fireplace and ocean views."

Joel also sold his Miami home for $14 million to Tod's Shoes last year. Check that home out, here.
