Robbie Williams sells vacant plot of land for $7 million to Eddy Aslanian

Robbie Williams, the "Swings Both Ways" hitmaker, has reportedly sold a 3.12-acre lot in Mulholland Estates to venture capitalist Eddy Aslanian for $7 million, according to some real estate sources.

The Real Estalker is reporting that the British singer purchased the residential parcel for an unknown amount in 2008. The undeveloped property was listed several times, including once in April 2012 for $8.5 million. The lot last asked $7.9 million in September 2012 and finally sold in January this year for about $900,000 below its asking price.

The property was bought through a trust that is controlled by venture capitalist Eddy Aslanian. However, it is not known if he represented a consortium or purchased it for personal development, the blog explains.

More recently, Williams purchased a mansion in Holland Park, London that belonged to late director Michael Winner for $28.8 million in December 2013. The "Take That" singer grabbed the place for a considerable discount as Winner valued the property at $98.97 million before his death, reports the Daily Mail.

Williams purchased the property as he has his other London residence listed on the market. The Compton Bassett House in Wiltshire, about 85 miles west of central London, is asking $8.53 million. The residence is a classic farmhouse-palace-like setting. The main house, which sits surrounded by sprawling greens, is a 19,913-square-foot, single-family home comprised of more than nine bedrooms and more than 14 bathrooms.

Just before Williams listed the Wiltshire property, he sold off his Beverly Hills mansion for $3.2 million. The home has two large units - a main house and a guest house - complete with soccer field views. The 4,659-square-foot main house was built in 1947 and has three bedrooms and four bathrooms. In the same compound, there is a 1,134-square-foot one-bedroom, one-bathroom complex, which can be used as a guest house. This property was added later in the adjoining lot to the main house in 1951.

Outside, it has a swimming pool, a pool house, ample seating areas and a four-car garage.
