American football star Joe Staley is selling his luxurious homes located in San Jose for $1.89 million. It was said that Staley's bay area home was actually built in 1950s. He made some major renovations and features elegant indoor and outdoor designs, a report from Los Angeles Times said on Monday.
Described as a ranch-style house in Willow Glen area, according to the report, Staley's house has "four bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms on a single level." Aside from these, it has a "formal dining room, an office, four bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms are among the other living spaces."
"The 2,538 square feet of open-plan space accesses a formal living room with stone fireplace and an adjacent kitchen with a breakfast bar, stainless steel appliances and a wine fridge. French doors off the master suite open to a swimming pool with a waterfall feature and raised spa. A veranda-topped patio, built-in barbecue and outdoor shower complete the setting," the report said.
The offensive tackle for the San Francisco 49ers has reportedly purchased the whole property back in 2008 for $1.75 million, citing public records. In fact, Staley had originally asked for $1.95 million for the said Bay Area home which was placed on the market last September.
The listing agent of the real estate property is Andrew Cotton of Azure Home, citing a record from the Multiple Listing Service. Fran Papapietro of the Sereno Group has represented Staley in the sale.
"Staley had already been under contract with the 49ers through 2017, but this contract will be valued as an entirely new contract rather than an extension. Staley received no new money in 2014, but will receive an additional $12 million over the next three seasons of his original contract. In return for receiving larger up front money, Staley has given up free agency in 2018 and in return given the 49ers what would be considered reasonable salaries in 2018 and 2019 for a starting tackle," Over The Cap reports.
