‘Halo 5: Guardians’ DLC: Microsoft Confirms December DLC, Features New Weapons, Skins And Armor

Software giant Microsoft on Monday has confirmed that it will roll out a new DLC on December for its popular "Halo 5: Guardians" video game. The game's upcoming DLC is said to feature new weapons, armors, weapon skins and other gaming elements that will improve the over-all gameplay of the game. Aside from this, the company has also confirmed the Forge tools which is slated to be launched next month, a report from Gamespot said.

"343 Industries has hinted at new gear in the upcoming Halo 5: Guardians DLC. The teaser comes at the end of the latest Halo 5 livestream. The update includes new armor, weapons, weapon skins, and much more. The iconic M41 SSR Rocket Launcher seems to make an appearance, along with the Mark IV helmet, black/gold weapon skins, and a new space-themed setting, probably to be used in Forge mode," Gameranx said.

"Other recent Halo 5 updates included one this week that saw Big Team Battle mode added back into the fray, along with new maps. 343 Industries has also been busy banning players who have been found exploiting the game to acquire more REQ and XP points, changing SWAT mode in the process. The map Orion was also removed from public playlists after an exploit giving some players a significant advantage. The developer also promised to improve multiplayer spawn points and other exploits based on player feedback," the report said.

IGN reports that last week,  game developer 343 Industries has rolled out a free update to "Halo 5: Guardians." It was said that the free updates has added "the series' classic Big Team Battle mode, along with new maps designed specifically with its large-scale firefights in mind."

"The first major update for Halo 5 was the Battle of Shadow and Light, which launched this week. It added the Big Team Battle mode, four new maps, and dozens of new Req packs. It is the first of numerous free updates that 343 plans to release for Halo 5 over the game's lifespan," Gamespot said.
