"General Hospital" bad girl Donna Mills, who played the role of Madeline Reeves on "GH," is set to portray as a good mother in the upcoming Hallmark movie entitled "12 Gifts Of Christmas."
According to Soap Opera Spy, "12 Gifts Of Christmas" will premiere on The Hallmark Channel on Thanksgiving Day.
In the movie, Mills will play the role Joyce Rehnquist, Marc Rehnquist who is portrayed by Aaron O'Connell. Based on Hallmark Channel's brief summary, the movie is about Marc who is an uptight corporate executive who will hire Anna Paris (played by Katrina Law) to be his personal Christmas shopper.
Anna in an unemployed painter who will teach Marc the essence of gift giving and that the amount of money spent does not really matter because what is important is the heartfelt value of the gift. In the process, Anna will discover the artist in her and most of all the connection between her and Marc. When it comes to Hallmark movies, falling in love is a big part of it and that goes very well in this story.
Meanwhile, Donna's fans on "General Hospital" may have known her as a terrible mother and so it would be good to see her portray a much pleasing role.
The last time that Madeline was seen on "GH" was the time that she got arrested after the brutal death of Silas Clay who was then portrayed by Michael Easton wherein she was brought to Pentonville. What happened totally broke her daughter's heart Nina Clay but then, she was not really an ideal mother to her.
Last April, Daily News shared that it was good to have Mills on the reality TV show, "Queens of Drama." It has been reported that Mills was named by Soap Opera Digest as "best villainess." She may not be a villain in this TV show but still she was able to show her "no-nonsense" side.
"12 Gifts of Christmas" will premiere on Thanksgiving night, 8 p.m. on The Hallmark Channel.
