'Gravity Rush Remastered' Coming to PlayStation 4 Earlier Than Expected

"Gravity Rush", otherwise known as "Gravity Daze" in Japan, the open world RPG initially developed for PlayStation Vita is being re-mastered for release on PlayStation 4 and the good news is that it is launching earlier than expected.

According to Gamespot, since the game is being adapted to PS4, "Gravity Rush" will have an HD version with 1080p graphics and will come with three expansions namely Spy pack, Maid pack and Military Pack. "Gravity Rush" was considered one of the best games released for PlayStation Vita early in its lifecycle.

According to Eurogamer, popular Vita title was originally slated for release on Feb. 10 but it was moved to Feb. 2, a week earlier. "Gravity Rush" was initially launched in 2012 for the handheld console. The story follows Kat, the girl protagonist who can manipulate gravity.

The review by Chris Donlan that is posted in Eurogamer says, "This is a game designed, I suspect, with a niche kind of dandyish adventurer in mind. It offers an art nouveau world set to Django-ish jazz and militaristic flourishes, in which you weave between well-to-do flâneurs as you move from one geometrical plane to the next, beating up anything that comes with tendrils attached as you do so. You can't open many doors in Hekseville, but the game would never work inside anyway."

"Instead, it's about using your superhero powers to fling yourself across boiling skies and tumbling clouds, choosing when to make a wall into the floor and when to walk across the underside of a building or a mushroom just because you can." He gave the "Gravity Rush" a score of 9 out of 10.

This news was originally announced by PlayStation Europe via Twitter on Thursday, but SCEA's Nick Accordino has announced that the same is true for North America. "Gravity Rush" can now be preordered via Amazon.
