The Dallas Cowboys bounced back after enduring a seven-game losing streak in the NFL. Thanks to Tony Romo who came back after a collarbone injury, the team managed to win 24-14 against the Miami Dolphins.
A seven-game losing streak may not be easy to overcome until the end of the season but the Dallas Cowboys can now remember how it felt like to be a winner. Romo's touchdown passes to Terrence Williams and Dez Bryant led them to their first victory since Sept. 20.
The Dallas Cowboys still have a chance to bounce back into the playoff chase at 3-7, but it would be devastating if they lose their game last Sunday. Romo was able to finish the game with 227 yards on 18 out of 28 passing. He was also able to float a perfect pass down the sideline for a 31-yard score when his team had to overcome a second-and-27 situation on the touchdown pass to Williams.
There is one reason for them to panic, though. According to ESPN, the Dallas Cowboys only have three days to prepare before playing with the undefeated Carolina Panthers. The Panthers just got the 10th spot in the league ranking; it would be good if the Cowboys have at least a week to prepare for Cam Newton and the Panthers' defense.
The Dallas Cowboys were no able to do well on Thanksgiving last year when the Philadelphia Eagles beat them with 33-10. Romo, at that time was not able to inject pain killer before the game. He was not able to have a touchdown pass and was picked off twice. It would be interesting to see how he bounces back with two games in five days after being out for two months.
As reported by Shreveport Times, the heavy rain and gusty wind was not able to stop Romo from leading his team to victory. His teammates seemed to have a boost when he came back.
"Him being back just gives everybody that much more juice," Dez Bryant said. "We both know who our leader is."
